Mark Silver

Mark was a Director of Kalon Group PLC, becoming responsible for both the chemicals division and Group property. In 1991, he left to establish First Argyll with Gary Leigh, being the first of five property investment vehicles spanning the last 15 years.

In parallel to First Argyll, Mark also developed The Academy, one of the first high quality country clubs in the country. The Academy Group now includes workplace gyms and day nurseries in its portfolio.

In 1999, Mark acquired Le Mas Candille in Mougins France, transforming it into a five star hotel, with a Michelin starred gastronomic restaurant and spa. In 2003, Les Muscadins, a boutique hotel in the village of Mougins was added to the Group.
